Layton & Karlie's Birthday weekends

Our birthdays fall just 2 weeks apart. So it is always a fun few weeks of celebration.

For Layton's 32nd birthday we celebrated at the Chicago White Sox game. Right field and 11 rows up, we had great seats. Lots of action all around, with foul balls and even a person getting thrown out of the game because of interferring with a play ball. The weather was a little chilly, but it didn't stop us from having a very wonderful time. The Lord blessed with an extra bonus...a man gave us his season ticket parking pass for the day, so our parking was 4 rows from our gate entry! This was wonderful because of the celebration day and because of my 7.5 month pregnancy mark!

For my 31st birthday Layton surprised me with an afternoon at The Medieval Times Dinner and Tournament Castle in Schaumburg, IL. We had a wonderful time watching the tournament and enjoying our medieval meal. Yes, a medieval meal included 3 course meal with no silverware to eat it with. We had a great time together celebrating.

South Dakota Grandparents visit

It was a great few weeks in April and May.

Grandma and Grandpa Sandve stopped to visit us on their way to SC for a family visit. We had a wonderful time having them stay with us for a long weekend. It included an LU baseball game (alittle cold out), shopping at Walmart (to get Abby her first bike) and of course just plenty of time with Abby.

Grammy came two weeks later and spent almost a full week with us. She spent several days with Abby while Layton and I went off to work. It was finally nice out, so of course, Grammy and Abby's favorite place to go was outside. Grammy and I went to the Northside of Chicago to purchase our deal shopping of purses and accessories. It is is always a great time on the Northside.

It was sad to see them go, but we were very happy they were able to visit with us. Enjoy some pictures of our family visits.
